The Husqvarna 555 24 Inch Chainsaw is a powerful and versatile gas chainsaw built for small and midsize tree felling, limbing and bucking. Equipped with an X-CUT chain, this professional chainsaw is ready to take on even the most demanding of jobs. Smart Start offers an effortless start-up with a side-mounted tensioning system for simple slack adjustments. This gas powered chainsaw is fitted with Air Injection, a centrifugal air cleaning system that removes 98% of dust and debris particles before it reaches the air filter, to improve engine life and reduce air filter cleanings. Additionally, AutoTune optimizes engine performance throughout various working conditions, compensating for things like different fuels, altitude, humidity, temperature and clogged air filters. The powerful, efficient 4.16-HP X-Torq engine reduces emissions (up to 60%) and increases fuel efficiency (up to 20%). It uses Husqvarna 2-stroke lubricant with a 50:1 oil tank volume (0.68 US pint or 0.32 l tank volume).

Little disappointed

Long story short this was ordered online, I received a shipping tracking number and my saw never left the warehouse, I cancel my order after 7 days and bought the same model saw from local small engine shop. The customer service help was excellent to work with.

Cautiously Optimistic

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used it about 10 hours so far. Was purchased to replace a 455 Rancher that was the most frustrating piece of equipment I ever owned. I did everything to get it to run correctly but finally gave up. I also have a 445 that is the best and most dependable chainsaw I’ve ever owned. So I was hesitant to buy another Husqvarna chainsaw. So far so good with the 555 as it is just starting to get broken in. The jury is still out but looking promising.

Perfect saw for every job!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this, saw to handle everything from trimming to cutting wood for splitting to trimming trees and lowering stump heights. With its 24 inch bar and crazy amount of power for how lightweight it is. It has been the perfect saw for every job! I 10 out of 10 would recommend for anyone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My very best firewood saw is a Husqvarna 359, It is fast and light with a 20" bar, .325"x.05" gauge chain, and a 9 tooth sprocket. I bought the 555 as a replacement, as I was really tired of the hemorrhaging bar oil of the 359. I own 4 other 300 series Husqvarna saws and they all leak bar profusely. It's like I have to a Hazmat set up when I set them on the ground. I am hoping Husqvarna, has reengineered the the whole bar oil, storage and transport system with the new generation of saws. Right now I am loving the fact that I can put the 555 down without emptying the bar oil tank and not have a puddle of oil on the shop floor the next day. Even so the 555, with its 3/8"s chain, 20" bar, and 7 tooth sprocket is not nearly as fast as the old bleeding 359. I am mostly happy with the 555, it's just time to switch all the cutting gear.
