Husqvarna 122LK 17 in. 22cc Straight Shaft Gas String Trimmer, 2-Cycle

Well balanced, easy starting, and fairly light. Great for cleaning fence rows.

I should have saved the extra money and got one of the higher price tag trimmers from a different brand. I did my backyard and it's already bogging down and dying, and of course to get anything fixed I'm going to have to ship it back to Husqvarna myself. I even spent the high price tag for their fuel specifically and it's still already messing up, and of course you need specialized tools to even adjust anything on the trimmer. I'd just avoid Husqvarna altogether unless you are a contractor with a dealer close by that can do maintenance that you are obviously going to need a lot of if a trimmer needs maintenance after less than 3 hours of run time. The grip handle on the shaft is also perpetually loose. Just disappointed on a 280 dollar purchase from what's supposed to be a reputable brand.

Assembly was straightforward and simple. This trimmer is quieter than my old trimmer but seems to have plenty of power to get the job done quickly. Only giving 4 stars because the instructions only included assembly and motor operations. The only reference to loading new string points you to page 18, which contains the model of the string trimmer attachment. Nothing on how to actually replace the line. I understand that companies try to save money where they can, but if you don't include full instructions for everything included in the box, the customer feels cheated out of something the should have received.

I bought this and except a small hickup with the choke at the first start it started up and ran perfectly fine out of the gate. Even after I initially put it back in the shed when I was finished I found a spot I had missed and pulled it back out. It started right on the first pull. Only gripe at this point is the finicky grab handle. It does not seem to be secured very well and has moved around on me even though I have tightened the screw holding it down.
