Still great but changed recipe

The kibble shape and size and smell has changed. My cats are still eating it but one of my sensitive guys seems to be having a bit more vomiting with it though can’t tell if he is just more stressed or if it is the food.

Kibble keeps changing?

The last 3 bags I have ordered have all had different shaped/sized kibbles and I'm not sure why. Thankfully my cats are not very picky but I know for others the most minute changes can be an issue for picky animals.

However, normal variations in product can occur as a result of normal variations in processing. These normal variations will have no impact on the nutritional value of the food. For each of our dry products, we have defined kibble size specification ranges that are maintained for each production batch. To ensure optimal kibble size consistency, we strive for the specified kibble size from batch to batch. Throughout production, kibble size is checked at least three times every thirty minutes at different points in the production process, to ensure that the proper target size is maintained. There can be kibble size variations from bag to bag which are still within specification for the product due to the product being made at different plants, larger kibbles can be due to a worn die plate, while smaller kibbles can be due to a newer die plate.

Shape and size do not match in all bag sizes

The kibble size and shape is different when you by a 3.5lb bag or a 7lb bag. Have not purchased the largest size bag to see if issue continues there too. Cats initially deterred from shape difference.
