The Harvest Lane Honey Solid Beehive Bottom Board fits a 10-frame Langstroth beehive and is made to withstand years of use. The reinforced front entrance and back with solid board resists delaminating or board separation. Center support adds additional hive support and also allows for easy strapping of the hive, without lifting the hive. Spacing on the bottom makes it easy to strap your hive for transport or wind protection.

  • Use 1 per Langstroth beehive

This product is the preferred choice when ventilation isn't an issue. The price is reasonable, no motivation to make something yourself. It fits perfectly with the other components of the Harvest Lane bee box.

This bottom board worked well with harvest lane hive body. Simple design and should not warp and will hold up to weather once painted.

How to w/Hive Reducer

I have a couple of these bottom boards and they work nicely. I do paint them with "animal" safe paint. To use the thicker hive reducer place Reducer at the hive entrance and use thumb tacks, rocks, or whatever you have on hand to keep the Reducer pressed against the hive. My bees go in and put no problems. Hope this helps! Good Bee luck out there!

incorrectly made returned item. Rails were too thin and same brand entrance reducer would not fit.
