While the product is not considered harmful when used as directed, it's best to prevent licking until the medicine is dry by using an Elizabethan collar or keeping them distracted with a walk or treats. - A: Hi Neighbor! To use Happy Jack Mange Medicine, wear gloves, apply the medicine directly to affected skin, and massage it in with a slow, firm finger. Leave the medicine on your dog for several days, reapplying once or twice daily depending on the severity, without rinsing it off. Do not use the product on the inside of your dog's ears, and consult your veterinarian before use if your dog is a puppy or has other health concerns.8 months agoHelpful?

My Yorkie suddenly developed dry skin that caused him to scratch so much his fur became thin and unhealthy looking. Apoquel stopped the symptoms but did nothing for the problem. I googled and this stuff popped up. I tried it and he immediately stopped scratching. I’m continuing use in the hopes his hair will grow back in.
