Vetericyn Plus Hot Spot Antimicrobial Gel helps irritated skin heal faster. Safe for all animals, this versatile antimicrobial gel is convenient to have on hand. It can be used to provide pain and itch relief and to promote fast healing. It's especially effective for skin irritations caused by biting, scratching, chewing and licking. Vetericyn Plus Hot Spot Antimicrobial Gel is carefully formulated to maintain an appropriate pH level. It contains no antibiotics or steroids, so it won't sting or burn, and it was developed using advanced hypochlorous technology.

Store at room temperature. Store away heat and from direct sunlight. Don't freeze. Do not use after expiration date. After use, seal or close dispenser.

Not for oral administration. Directions For Use: Shake well before use. Move excess hair from wound area. Clip if necessary. Adjust spray nozzle and saturate the affected area. If dressing is required, saturate dressing with Vetericyn Plus® Wound & Skin Care Liquid or Antimicrobial Hydrogel at each dressing change. Repeat 3-4 times per day or as necessary. Faster healing is achieved when wounds are cleaned and maintained moist. No rinsing necessary. Safe for use around mouth, nose, ears, and eyes. For best results, first clean affected area with Vetericyn Plus® Wound & Skin Liquid to ensure deep dermal cleansing and proper wound bed preparation.

Q: Can I use this on a cats itchy ears?
a year ago- A: Vetericyn Plus products, including our Wound and Skin care liquid, hydrogel, and Hot Spot Gel can all be used on itchy ears. We do offer an Ear Rinse at Tractor Supply with a twist spout for easy access to ears as well. These products generally work well for itchy ears but can depend on the root cause of the itchy ears. Typically with an established infection, it will be important to flush the area out topically with Vetericyn Plus Wound & Skin Care liquid and then also treating orally with an antibiotic.
