You will want to prevent continuous licking, however, as swallowing large amounts can cause an upset stomach and it washes away the medication before it can heal the skin. This stuff worked. Took about 3 days of chasing our Great Pyrenees around spraying here 3x a day but after she realized the pain/itch went away she stood there to let us spray her. A week later she’s regrowing her hair and she’s healed up.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Pump doesn't work

Used once and after that it won't spray. Pump does not return to up position. You can grab with both hands and wiggle it back up but then your dog takes off. Poor quality.
