It’s been 11 days since we rolled out the GrowTrax, so nothing has happened, looks like the day we rolled it out? I’m hoping it starts soon? My main complaint is I wish we would have received the how to video before we received the product. We would have prepared our soil differently, anyway we are still hoping for good results?

We love the idea of this product and had great expectations, however we did not find the expense worthwhile. We laid out 3 pro rolls in our back yard, (new home construction requiring deep top soil to level the yard). We filled in around the edges and in a few areas where we did not have the growtrax material laid down with plain rye seed purchased elsewhere. The plain seed sprouted 3-4 days earlier with no additional effort required to keep the seed in place. The biggest issue for us was every very slight breeze pulled up areas of the sheets at corners, seams, and various areas that had ripped and separated when stepped on. The material dried out quickly and we found ourselves constantly having to lay it back down and quickly water again to keep it down and in place. We would not purchase this material again, we would just spread raw seed. It was easier to work with and way less expensive.

It went down as easy as what I saw in the advertisements. Grass has started coming up within a couple weeks.

There have been more rainy days than sunny days this past week, meaning that the fabric stayed wet most of the day. Where the wind blew back an edge I did see some tiny sprouts but nothing yet on top of the fabric… fingers crossed that grass will appear soon.
