Poor quality

You have to be cautious when picking a wood handled hoe. The grain must be perpendicular to the strike! Or, like a baseball bat, it will break. This hoe handle, one I selected of many, is oriented correctly, the other half dozen were NOT! Even so, this is a one star hoe! The blade is soft, untempered! It takes a lot of work to put a functional edge on it, which is gone after one or two strikes at a weed in loamy soil! This is a wall hanger, not a functional tool. I've been using hoes for 70 years! I know a good hoe from a bad one. This one is a sorry excuse for a tool!

No, I do not recommend this product.

Good hoe

It is a good quality hoe. The handle is a little long for me, but I didn't want to buy a cheaply made one.
