Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good choice for inexpensive D handle scoop My only negative comment is that as with so many items anywhere these days, quality in small details has slipped. This shovel has both a wood shaft and wood grasp handle. Although these are smooth the wood is poorly finished/sealed. It looks and feels to me like the thinnest of possible coating was applied--and that was not uniform. However, because this is an inexpensive shovel, I am not terribly unhappy about this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best price on the best shovel. My old plastic grain scoop that I had for 20 years finally shattered into piece when shoveling snow in -9F weather. I decided that the next shovel would not be subject to failure and the Razorback had all the makings of a great heavy duty shovel. No plastic and rock solid. Thanks TSC for a great product!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My favorite snow shovel When I was a kid, these grain shovels were what we used as snow shovels in Minnesota. They scoop right in, the snow stays on the shovel, and the shovel doesn't tip from side to side like a wide blade shovel. Those are fine if you can just push snow down the sidewalk, but I actually have to lift and carry our snow. I've moaned and groaned about modern day shovels not doing what the grain shovel does for my entire marriage (a loooooong time). I finally said, "Enough! I'm getting what I want." We've had only one snow fall since I got it, but so far, so good! My only complaint is that delivery wasn't available to the store.
