Bought it to chop to large weeds without throwing seeds or pollen everywhere with a weed eaters, its pretty solid, i struck a stone and got some chips in the edge , while chopping away at a large bunch and it ground out with no trouble! I cant give a review on corrosion because jt hasnt be in the elements much, but grip and balance are very nice! The wooden handle with a slight curve gives it nice leverage and a good look! No splinters either. If it breaks, i will buy another. Good product!

I liked the idea of this tool and bought it immediately when I saw it. I have a lot of brush that is tough to get to so I long handled blade is just what I need. The blade was very sharp when I unpackaged it, but my very first time using it, the handle broke. I was swinging it like normal and it snapped like a twig. I'm very surprised this tool was not tested more before hitting shelves with such a weak handle. As another review mentioned, it actually looks like the wood grain is going the wrong way, or they used an extremely brittle, light wood for the handle.
