Cheaply made.

I definitely wish I had done more research on this product before I purchased it and brought it home and put it together. You have to get off the mower each time you wanna open or close the seed shoot. The adjustment for the seed distribution doesn’t stay in the same place. Even spreading of your fertilizer doesn’t happen correctly. Really not happy with my purchase at all.

The durability of this item is questionable. The rod that goes from the adjustment to the bottom of the hopper starts to bend severely To the point it looks like it will fail. I haven't tested the coverage or the mobility of it.

Poor quality waist of money

Only giving it one star because I have to. Poor destine the gears are plastic and would not rotate the tray while in motion when loaded with seed. Wasted two bags of seed trying to get it to work. Not impressed and not worth what it cost.

This item is probably the worst thing I've ever purchased from GROUNDWORKS/TRACTOR SUPPLY. Not only is it cheaply made it was a literal pain in the *** to assemble, and I'm a thirty plus year certified maintenance mechanic. Additionally, the holes for the connecting rod from the control handle are drilled in the wrong place, when closing the slot both the control arm and connecting linkage arm will bend, regardless of which hole is used; it was necessary to drill an additional hole in the conecting arm to make it function properly.
Would not reccomend this product, or purchase it again. Totally dissatisfied, not worth the cost.
