Great product for the money. Broadcasts alot farther than expected, varied only by how fast you crank the handle. One drawback is that the interior bottom is flat and you have to shake the spreader around when you start running low to get the seed or fertilizer to the dispenser. Also, the way the canvas is attached you get alot of seed stuck between the canvas and the plastic base.

Bought this to spread seed and fertilizer for small remote food plots for wildlife. The regulator system is about useless. It also throws as much seed at you as it does forward, might as well roll around in the seed bag before using.

Great spreader at a great price

This spreader works great compared to the Earthway. Metal gears an handle last a lot longer and are easier to use. I found its capacity to be between 15-20lbs. I use it on an acre plus of food plots and it’s never failed while spreading fertilizer or seed. I went through 3 Earthways in the same time span as I’ve had this EarthWorks and there is no comparison.

Look out for....

Out of the box it was missing a small clip that retains the crank handle from sliding out. Since i was already up in the woods when i opened the new box it was quite a chore to keep pressure on the handle so the gears would jive and spin without it popping out 90x. Got the job done, but with a lot of frustration
