- A: No, you should not put granular GW 12-12-12 fertilizer directly into a drip irrigation system. Granular fertilizers are designed to break down slowly over time in the soil and are not completely water-soluble. Putting these solid particles into your system will cause the drip emitters and lines to become clogged and fail.10 months agoHelpful?
