Q: Can you cut the stake? It seems to be as long as the gauge itself

Worth the investment

The size and visibility of the rain gauge is fantastic. In addition to the ground stake a mounting bracket for a vertical surface would be ideal. At least once, so far, the gauge has been to capacity at 5". At present I cannot comment on accuracy or durability.
