The wood is decent quality, however, the metal rings would not stay up on one of them. I had to use some small nails to keep the rings in place. They do look nice in the yard.

It’s really us the best container for plants

I grow roses and whiskey barrels are perfect for growing roses this whiskey barrel. This is bad as good as it gets. The reality is is there are techniques to using whiskey barrels some of the people that have left reviews have obviously never planted in a whiskey barrel it’s pretty easy. Yes the straps are not attached, but that doesn’t really matter once you have drilled holes in the bottom add a little bit of gravel and then your soil you’re good to go just so that people will know by reference it typically takes 4 ft.³ of soil for each barrel. That would be too large bags of topsoil so it really is relatively the cheapest way to do a raised bed or an ornamental potting. I have several of these and I will continue to use these. I tend to like the ones from tractor supply a little bit better from other places and sometimes they do go on sale.
