- A: Yes, this can be applied to fruit trees, see instructions below: Feed in spring, preferably before growth starts, or in the fall after the leaves have dropped. Apply 1 to 2 pounds per inch of the tree truck diameter. If they are planning to use this on a lawn or pasture, it would be good to recommend one of the items below instead.
