I could not start my generator. Called the 800 number and got the run around and they still haven't found me a place to get it looked at. Their www page, might as well forget about it. Next time I'll stay with a brand I know, even if it means paying a few hundred more dollars

starts up every time without fail. however on propane has difficulty delivering more than 5kw steady. if pushed for 6kw or more will deliver for a few minutes then stop sending power for a few minutes and then start sending again. better to run at lower amps to keep power coming continuously though not at the amount rated for. takes a while to recharge home batteies at the lower rate. just wish it could deliver a steady 7kw as ad promised

I received this product in a timely manner. Upon trying to start this generator from Green Power America, it would not start using gasoline after verifying everything was turned on, I switched to propane, and it started. Switched back to gasoline and it would not run. I contacted the service people in CA and was told I should clean the carburetor, and he would send me $30 for doing it. I told him (John) I was not qualified to do that and it would void my warranty. The he told me to take it somewhere and have it fixed and send him the receipt for service and he would pay me. He was very hard to understand with his accent. He had no other answers to my questions and couldn't tell me anyone that would do warranty service. I made several calls to the service number and always got him. He said he was the only one there. I asked to speak to his manager and he said he was not working, then next time I asked, he said he was the manager. After over an hour on the phone I gave up with him, then he said he would send me a new carburetor for it. This is the worst customer service I have ever received anywhere. I am still trying to locate someone to service it. I cannot transport it; I have no vehicle to put it in and cannot lift it if I did. No one in the area will work on it. I called my local Tractor Supply store, and they were great, they came and picked it up and refunded my money. thank you.

Love this generator it has. Any safty measures that prevent you from beginners like me messing it up. The thing does gave a basic propane adapter for 35 to 40 pound tanks if you go higher you need a adaptor called p 1_3 i think its easy to put on to use 100 pound tanks other then that hick up. Was super easy allaround!
