  • WARRANTY - Comes with our 24-month quality guarantee! Sturdy metal construction provides trouble-free operation for years. High-quality galvanised steel finish, aluminum treadle and stainless steel nuts and bolts, built to last in tough outdoor conditions.
  • DESIGN - Our feeders are waterproof! Side guards to prevent chickens from eating from the side. An anti-flick grill prevents chickens from flicking food out of the feeder, attracting rats and mice. The minimum weight required to open the feeder has been tested and proven to ensure your chickens can access the feed while pests can't.
  • OPERATION - A lid which opens when activated by a chicken's weight allows your hens to feed on demand while preventing wild birds, rats, mice, and other pests from accessing the feed. The top removable waterproof lid allows for easy filling of feed.
  • ASSEMBLY AND TRAINING YOUR CHICKENS - It's super easy to assemble by attaching the treadle with 4 bolts. To train your chickens to use the feeder, we include two training bolts to limit movement. There are two settings, with one week for each setting.
  • FEED - The large storage area holds 18kg/40lb of poultry feed. It will feed twelve chickens for ten days, allowing you to free up your weekends. The Feeders are suitable for all dry feeds.

Great, except for the inside grill size.

The bigger version is better for my 12 chickens in every way. More can feed at one time, holds a full bag of feed, and they weren’t as scared of it like they were with the smaller unit. Only negative is that the grate inside is too short for the feed box size, is sharp on the grill points, and doesn’t feel like it locks in like the smaller unit’s does. Otherwise it’s a good feeder.

Didn’t include all parts

Disappointed in Grandpas Feeders. No way to contact the manufacture, I’ve tried. Ordered one and although the feeder is good, it did not have the chicken scratch kick plate included as stated, since I’ve heard nothing from Grandpas Feeders I’ll try and figure something out but for this price, it should have been a lot easier to handle this then a negative review.
