Gentacalm Topical Spray is formulated as a broad-spectrum antibiotic to treat superficial lesions and other dermatological infections in dogs. It contains gentamicin, which effectively controls infections while providing antipruritic and anti-inflammatory effects to reduce itching and inflammation, keeping canines comfortable. The non-greasy, non-staining and odorless formula is great for pets with sensitive skin. Available in 60 mL or 120 mL sizes of Gentacalm spray for dogs.How it Works

Gentacalm contains gentamicin as its active ingredient, which is a highly potent broad spectrum antibiotic that fights a variety of bacterial skin infections. The quick-acting spray also contains betamethasone valerate, known to stop swelling and itching at the infection site.

Side Effects

Potential adverse reactions following systemic or parenteral synthetic corticosteroid use include:

• Diarrhea (sometimes bloody)
• Vomiting
• Polyuria (excessive urination)
• Polydipsia (excessive thirst)
• Anorexia
• Weight loss
• Elevated enzymes

Repeated or prolonged steroid treatment has been associated with Cushing's syndrome.

Active Ingredients

Per mL: gentamicin sulfate equivalent to 0.57 mg gentamicin base, betamethasone valerate equivalent to 0.284 mg betamethasone, 163 mg isopropyl alcohol, propylene glycol, methylparaben and propylparaben as preservatives, purified water q.s. Hydrochloric acid may be added to adjust pH.

• Using Gentacalm for more than a week may result in delayed healing of wounds. Your veterinarian should closely monitor extended use.
