Miconazole and chlorhexidine (hexazole) are the active ingredients in this formula. These ingredients have a cleansing and antiseptic effect, which allows for proper healing of skin conditions.

    My dog has a serious skin infection and my doggy dermatologist recommended BioHex every 2-3 days to treat the infection, and once or twice per month to keep the infection from reoccurring. This shampoo actually works and has almost completely healed the skin condition. I completely believe in this product for reason that it actually works.

    I adopted a pitbull that had an awful skin condition and was shedding like mad. My Vet recommended this along with a 3 in on tablet. This shampoo make him smell so good and stops the itching. I washed his every 3 days for 3 weeks and now every 2 weeks and he's full of healthy hair no itch…..
