The Genesis 42 gal. Dual Composting Tumbler overcomes the drawbacks of having to wait 2-months to 3-months for compost to mature by allowing 1 chamber to be filled while the other is curing. Features of the new composting tumbler include 2 sliding doors for easy access, built-in mixing rods for faster composting, multiple ventilation ports and a powder coated metal frame. A portion of every composting tumbler sold will be donated to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research through the TEAMFOX program. Made with durable, UV resistant plastic to last a very long time. The rodent proof design of the composting tumbler makes sure that no rodent can make its way in.1 year limited warranty

Q: How much raw material is suggested for each side?
5 years ago- A: We bought the composter last year and have used regularly filling both sides completely with a varying mix of raw and dead material to the point it’s heavy for my wife to spin. Amazingly, after only a few days the contents had broken down substantially and we could add more material. Works best if balanced and a mix of dead and raw material.5 years agoHelpful?
