The Tarter American 18 ft. Galvanized Gate is perfect for access between pastures and entryways! It stands 50 in. high with vertical Z-braces and is constructed of 1-3/4 in. steel tubing. Featuring a galvanized corrosion resistant finish, the gate is available in a variety of sizes from 4 ft. to 20 ft. and comes ready to hang with all hardware included. It ships with a snap chain, welded chain latch, 6 in. screw-in hinge pins, an adjustable top hinge and welded hinge on the bottom. Its steel construction offers enhanced durability. It also comes backed by a limited warranty for purchasing assurance.

- A: I don't know, but I've got to say, if it were twice as heavy a gauge, it wouldn't be any better. It is a thin wall tube that is plenty adequate, but it will dent. Don't back your trailer hitch into it like I did.5 years agoHelpful?

Hard to Order but finally arrived. Was charged extra to be delivered to the store and came in a week later than I was told. Called the store and they could not even find the order. Gave me a number to call and he was nice and very helpful. He had to contact the maker to get a ship date after it was due to arrive. Thankfully my last gate lasted 20 years because I doubt I would order again from here.
