I ordered the Gallagher 42 inch Orange Heavy Duty Fence Post for a use other than an Electric Fence. I required some type of marker for my driveway which is 800 feet in length that would mark the pavement area vice the gravel sides when clearing snow in the winter. Due to the fact both sides of my driveway is lined with trees just beyond the pavement plowing isn't an option especially when heavy snow is forecasted, as a result I use a tractor mounted Snowblower. The Orange Post allows me to see where the edge of the pavement is which allows me to keep the blower on the pavement vice any gravel and small rocks which could cause damage to the blower. I also use the post to mark where my lawn was recently repaired to assist the company that delivers LP for the homes Heating System LP Tanks to stay clear of the repaired area.
