Put up an electric fence to keep the deer out. 8 ft in the ground is somewhere between 6.5-7ft and did not have problems last year.

Ends curled

The ends of the post were curled up when they were cut. The curl metal makes the post hard to drive straight. They tend to twist like screws as they go in and will also go in at a slant if you do not work extra hard to counteract. Also, they metal is softer and more prone to rust than most others I have used.

Sturdy, but anchor plate may break off.

Sturdy, but one of the anchor plates broke off while driving it in gravely ground. Also, the free 5 clips per post were not included with the delivery.
