Sturdy but grooves catch dirt

Solid lid for light duty uses. Secures well to the buckets without being difficult to remove. We don't move the buckets around that much, so can't say how easily they'll pop off under stress. One star off for being a pain in the neck to clean. The ring of indentations on the top has lots of corners that are difficult to clean completely without spending a lot of time. The groves give the lid flexibility so it can be taken off the buckets, but there's got to be a different design that's easier to clean.

They don't seal

The lids don't seal air tight. Not even close. So anything stored in them can go bad. Also the buckets are an odd ball size so you can't use a lid from another one.
