Q: There is nothing here about the PTO. I assume the PTO still needs to be attached manually?

Q: Do you have to use bushings even if your implements are cat 1

1 Answer
  • A: Please see the Instructions below. 1. Determine the category of hitch you have on your tractor. Fast Hitch includes bushings to adapt category 1 hitch arms. Fast Hitch includes bushings to adapt category 1 implements to category 2. 2. Attach the main body of the fast hitch to 3 pt. arms by using bolt # 4 and nut # 14 and tighten securely. 3. Center the hitch by using bolt # 10 on top and bolt # 15 on the bottom along with jamb nut # 11 and secure. Tighten jamb nut after adjustment. 4. Use 3 each of bolt # 2 and jamb nut # 3 for each side of the hitch assembly. Tighten the bolts against the hitch arm assembly so the Fast Hitch is tight against the 3 point arms. Tighten jamb nuts. 5. Hook strap # 20 to each side of the Fast Hitch to keep lift arms together. 6. Back up your tractor to the implement and lift the 3 point arms. The spring loaded toggle should trap the pins of your implement. Make sure you have the proper pin size for the Fast Hitch so there is no play between the pins and Fast Hitch opening. Bushings are supplied if you need to adapt to Category 2. Secure top link and you are ready to use your Fast Hitch. 7. Check to make sure bolts and jamb nut are tight after 15 minutes of use. After checking the first time, complete the same process every hour. 8. To unhook your implement, hook the cable lanyard to the rod from the spring loaded toggle. Unhook your top link and lower the 3 pt. arms. Drive away from your implement slowly.

Q: Is this compatible with kubota L3301

  • A: Works great on my L3010 but it will more  depend on your lift arms which theoretically could be a few different configurations. Still based on how universal these are they will almost certainly work.

Versatile Aftermarket Product

I bought this for my John Deere 3520 compact tractor with the intent of allowing an easier hook-up to my various mix of 3 point implements. Since I have no assitance on hitching to the implements, this system addition to my link arms allows for a quick connection to the lower link pins while I'm still sitting on the tractor! I only have to get off the tractor to connect my top link. The cheaper, non-adjust, quick 3-point hitch or JD i-match would not work for me b/c my implements have different spacing between the draw pull pins. This fast change hitch system has been working well for me due to my lower arms can still spread open/close to adjust to my different implements and to my surprise, they mount really rigid if properly installed (no slop). The only drawback is that is pushes the pick-up load point an additional 4" from the tractor frame which could be an issue if extremely heavy implements are used. Also, my tractor has telescoping adjustments w/ pins for my lower link arms, which works out well b/c this system comes with a rubber strap that "forces" the link arms closed so they do not move when backing up to an implement. I can set my pins to the correct distance while the rubber strap holds the lower links arms in position while I back up to the implement. This works well for my set-up but may be a little tricky if I had the chain adjustments for my lower link arms.

A strong attachment with the absolute worst design

I bought this today and it did not take long to find out it was not made for a standard lift bar. The width of the attachment is not wide enough for the bolts to engage the lift arm. After a couple hours of tweaking I finally got it installed. It worked as advertised on ease of attaching my Bush Hog. However in about 5 minutes of use it was dangling loose. I am returning it tomorrow disappointed in not being able to use it. The designers of this device obviously did not do any testing.

Unsafe

These should not be on the market. These are not safe. Using 5 bolts to jamb these onto the arms defies physics. I put a 500lb mulcher on and on the first lift, the left side slipped off and bent the jamb bolts. I considered tapping the bolts into the arms so that the nuts could grab onto the arms like a set screw. However, first I wasn't willing to risk the integrity of my lower link arms and second, these probably need to move angle based on the attachment. DO NOT TRUST THESE.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Do not purchase

Bought this with high hopes. Was very hard to get installed correctly. Once installed it was still difficult to hook up. Used bushhog about 15 minutes and one of the bolts bent and caused it to twist. Damaged beyond use. Pure trash. Spend the extra and get a Pats quick hitch.
