Q&As

Q: Can this be used on a composite deck?

1 Answer
  • A: Thank you for your question. This pellet patio heater is not recommended for direct use on composite decking due to the high heat output and potential for heat transfer or ember contact. If used on a deck, it should be placed on a non-combustible protective surface such as stone or a fire-rated hearth pad to help protect the decking material.

Q: Not only does the box say it uses propane the website does also, twice! Under highlights it says, "Power Type: Wood pellets, Propane". And the specifications tab states, "power type = Wood Pellets, Propane"!?

1 Answer
  • AI-generated
A: This heater is designed to burn only wood pellets and does not have gas hookups for propane. While the website specifications may list propane as a power type, the unit is strictly pellet-fueled and is intended to provide a more efficient alternative to traditional propane heaters.

Efficient and easy patio jeat

This has been a great purchase for us! This little stove is so much better than our propane patio heater. It gives off great heat. I am currently sitting on my open back porch 6 ft from the stove and I am cozy. I love that I don’t have to smell propane. When we are not using it, we easily move it to a corner of our patio. The pellets last a long time and I love that I can adjust the heat between low/high. The fact that heat is at body level instead of above my head is a major bonus. My friends and I love to sit around this. It goes off a cozy glow.

Unit is fine, unhappy with TSC

Unit was preassembled when I got there which means I had to haul a 7 foot beast home. It was sitting outside and when I got it home noticed it was rusted. There was no manual with it and no ash clean out tool with the unit. Then there is the uneasy feeling I get knowing this is a massive 70,000 BTU unit and I don't know if I can trust the person who assembled it. They may be good, but they can't care about my family's safety as much as I do. My advice. By the unit but have it delivered so you get a medium sized box, know it was put together properly (Because you do it), get the manual and all the parts, and don't worry that it may be rusty inside because they left it outside at the store level.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Enjoy heat with your rear affixed to the glass

The only way to enjoy heat output is to affix your rear onto the glass window while the pellets are burning. This is a sad disappointment over a traditional propane patio heater.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Please contact us for troubleshooting. The heater will take about 45 minutes to heat the metal enough to radiate the heat. In colder temps it may take a bit longer. TheBoltzGroup
