The American built N28W evaporative window is an economical unit that provides high performance, easy installation and low maintenance. Evaporative coolers are intended for use in dry, arid climates. They can lower indoor temperatures by as much as 15-20° F. Evaporative coolers have low installation/maintenance costs; use 75% less electricity; no ozone damaging refrigerants. The water saturated pads act as a type of filter, removing dust and allergens from the air.Note: This product ships via over-the-road common carrier truck. Carrier destination shipping charges are included in the order shipping fee that will be displayed in the shopping cart.     Not a good product

    We bought this for a 200 sq. Ft. Green house and right after the warranty for the motor ran out at one year, the fan froze up. Hard to get to it to repair it and when my husband finally got it unfrozen it completely froze up motor and all 2 months later. This is made in the USA and we felt good about buying an a American product but it is not worth trying to repair as the parts are so expensive. Also, it didn't even cool this small area satisfactorily. The air moved well,but the air was not cool but tepid when the temperatures were above 80 or so. We live in the Texas hill country at a 2200 ft. Elevation so our humidity is fairly low most of the time. I have had two other coolers in the past for former greenhouses and they cooled much better.
