    We bought it for outdoor use in the yard. It ia quite heavy which ia great, so the strong wind we have here won't move it at all. During hot and dry days it makes a 3-5 degree difference. Because it runs on fan only, it’s very energy efficient as well.

    One big problem with these type of outdoor coolers is that you need to turn the water off and let the fans run through the filters for 10 to 15 minutes before you turn the fan off. With these new smart models you don’t have to worry about that since you can just press the power button and it will turn the water flow off and keep running the fan for 15 minutes before it turns itself off There is also an app and Wi-Fi connection, and I have used that, but I’ve also had to reset it before because it lost its Wi-Fi connection for some reason. Possibly because my Wi-Fi outside the house is not very good since my house is stucco. These fans are made in America, and it is rare for a company to be able to stay in business in the USA when so many cheap knock off products come from overseas.
