- A: The manufacturer stated to loosen the frame screws to help the trap stay in alignment when setting. Or you could try to put supports (like wood shims or similar) under frame when setting, then remove supports and press down on the trap (soil must be loose enough to allow it to be pressed down while in set position).4 years agoHelpful?
Q: I purchased 4 of your traps and have problem with trap staying set. It takes several step downs to lock. They work well when they stay set till mole trips it. I have 4 others that set with no problem. What’s the solution?
