Turns SOME things blue!

Tried this for use in clover plot. It definitely turned things blue: part of my concrete drive, my hands (I'm no stranger to dye as I've used others in our pond). This had a flip cap to squeeze out contents, but beware: the cap didn't seal well & before I know it I had it all over my hands. Using the max recommended amount, I sprayed a row, looked back and...saw no difference. I could not tell where I'd just sprayed other than the tire impressions. I won't waste $$ on this again

No, I do not recommend this product.

Great concentrate

Worked great. You can use about 1/2 of the recommended amount to see where you have sprayed. A little goes a long way!

Not very colorful

I mixed the colorant and a surfactant with a half-gallon of water into a 2-gallon tank and shook it vigorously before adding herbicide and the rest of the water and shook it again. I could barely see any color when spraying brush, so I could not tell where I sprayed it.

Works on desert landscape

I use this at .5 oz per gallon for spraying herbicide on gravel and it does a great job.  It’s easy to see where and how much I’m spraying. It breaks down within 3 days with sunlight.

Bottles leak

Coloring works but is very expensive. Have purchased several bottles. Won't buy any more of this brand. They always leak. Didn't even make it to the cashier today, it squeezed out the tightened cap. Blue dye is hard to get off your skin.

NOT for Boom sprayers.

GAVE THIS ONE A TRY AFTER USING A "BLUE LAZER" FROM AGRISUPPLY. this one Doesn't cover as good and it's a worse value for the money. I do not recommend trying this on a tractor boom sprayer. It maybe okay on a backpack sprayer.

Save your money

I was trying to use this to spray a food plot so I wouldn't miss anything. Things started off real well, I mixed it and the water turned blue, and so did my hands. It didn't come off my hands at all so I was pretty optimistic about how it would work, but man I couldn't have been more wrong. It was absolutely useless in trying to see where I sprayed. Don't bother with it and just use your tire tracks.

I can not recommend this spray indicator. Tried this brand for first time in some preemergent herbicide. I could see it in my gravel driveway but could not see any indication of it in the grass. Save your money.

Works great!

Mixes well with the other chemicals I'm mixing in my sprayer. While it can stain clothing easily, I have found that it is a little easier to clean off my skin than some other brands I've tried in the past. However, I would still recommend using chemical gloves and try to avoid spilling it at all.

Doesnt show up

Mixed per direction and it hardly shows. Plan on double the amount, which for me almost matchs the cost of the chemical. I think I will buy more chemical and just plan on overlapping more

Works Great! Follow the directions . . .

I mixed this with Gordon's Pasture Pro to treat weeds in a Bahia grass pasture in central Florida. I mixed per the directions and used a bottle in about 45 gallons to treat three acres in various locations. I could easily see where I sprayed. It was gone by the next day or two. I got some on a white t-shirt. It came out completely in the wash. I'm not sure what the issue is if people are saying they can't see it. A little goes a long way and I'm to try using even less next time. You can clearly see in the pictures where it was applied in late November.

Visible about 15 minutes

Color doesn’t last very long so you best be quick. It works but there are better products. My preference is BASF HiLight from Forestry Suppliers. It lasts about 3 days. So if you don’t finish the job in 15 minutes, you can pick up where you left off the following few days.

I like it, so will you.

Yes it will leak, so close the lid tight to solve that problem. I picked up in store. A little goes a long way to give a good visual to see where you sprayed thus saving you money by preventing over spraying what you already sprayed. It's going to stain the skin but really it isn't hard to remove with soap and water. Just get it, it's going to do what you need it to do. Add it to your sprayer on the grass, not on your floor. Close the lid tight and store it so it stays upright.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Can’t see it

Wanted to try this so I could stop trying to guess where I’d hit with the sprayer. Not worth the money unless you’re spraying something that ISN’T green. The color blends right in. I even mixed a very heavy dose (about 5x recommended) into the sprayer and still couldn’t see it, unless I sprayed super heavy, which would be a total waste of herbicide.

No, I do not recommend this product.

It dyes everything

It works well. I mixed it with weed killer to see where I had sprayed. It faded after about a week and is gone from the grass. As other reviews have said the cap sucks. It will leak everywhere when trying to use it so wear latex gloves, and make sure you pour it somewhere other than on your driveway or walkways. Faded from hands after a few days.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Works as stated

Follow the directions and it works great. When mixing, use gloves and put down cardboard or something to avoid blue stains. They'll fade but it's a dye, so as dyes do, they leave a mark.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Does it's job then leaves

Really helps see drift. Be sure to wear nitrile gloves because just a drop of this stuff will turn your hands blue for a few days. It is intended to mark where product has been applied, not to permanently color something so it fades in a few days outside, which is just what I want.
