So glad for hay cubes!

My 29 y.o. Warmblood gelding has the molars of an old horse, and is on the verge of being no longer able to chew his usual coastal hay. For a while now, I've been feeding him soaked Alfalfa/Bermuda Dumor hay cubes to compensate and provide him with needed forage. Easy to work with, easy to weigh and soak, plus he really likes his "hay mush".

Disappointing

Very inconsistent bag to bag, some is very dried out, crumbly and doesn't rehydrate well. Those bags, my horse will barley eat. This use to be FSI product but was bought out by DuMOR. They lowered the protein % and now my horse is loosing wt on it.

Great Forage

I feed my horses this product exclusivly. I supply no other forage, except that which grows naturally in the pasture. My horses have been on this diet for six years and have never colics or had a weight loss or gain that I did not intend. Easy to feed by the weight of the horse. I do not have to soak it ,they chew it and never leave much behind. Very consistent quality.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Great way to help feed supplements

This is a great product I use to give my older horse an extra boost of nutrition. I soak it and put powdered supplements in it. By doing this I am confident that the supplement is making it into his system and not just left in the bottom of the feed tub.

Yes, I recommend this product.
