Dickies Men's Relaxed Fit Carpenter Denim Jean is our most popular carpenter jean. The heavyweight, 100% cotton denim packs a double whammy, with a dual tool pocket and hammer loop on the left leg. The relaxed fit gives room through the seat and thigh for easier bending, stooping, and kneeling. Triple stitching prevents unexpected blowouts, while a slightly tapered leg easily fits over boots. And, the carpenter denim jean features brass rivets that prevent rips at stress points, a fail-proof, heavy-duty brass zipper, coin pocket, and Dickies' signature stitching on the back pockets.

  • Relaxed fit jean sits slightly below waist, and has extra room in seat and thigh
  • Made of 13.5-14 oz. heavyweight denim, 100% cotton fabric
  • Dickies Men's Relaxed Fit Carpenter Denim Jean is a best-selling carpenter jean
  • 7 keystone belt loops add strength, and prevent bunching
  • Carpenter Jean features a fail-proof, heavy-duty brass zipper
  • Coin pocket fits a small pocket knife
  • Signature stitching on back pockets
  • Brass rivets prevent rips at stress points
  • Triple-stitched seams add durability
  • Slightly tapered leg fits easily over boots

Just what I wanted: Great Jeans!

These jeans are well-made of heavy denim with roomy pockets and comfortable fit. In the past, I've bought second-hand jeans, but they wore out quickly. I'm confident these Dickies will last well.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Not the same as my old pair

I've worn my old 33x32 heavyweights at work for a couple years. They fit about 1.5 to 2 inches large in the waist. I needed a new pair so I got these in a 34x32 to fit a little larger but they fit about an inch smaller in the waist than my old pair. I returned those and did the actual measurements in the sizing, which said I was a 38x32 (which made no sense to me). Anyway, that pair I can fit my entire forearm down the front while wearing them so I guess it's time to exchange again and try a 36. The sizing has just changed a lot with the new make of this design yet I don't know what to expect with a 36 because of how extreme the difference between the last two pairs is. Either way, the sizing guide is way off.

Jeans run small

The jeans themselves were fine, they just were too tight in the waist. I usually take a 36/30, but in this case the jeans seem to run smaller than other brands.
