The description of "carpenter jeans" usually doesnt mean that all the pockets on the jeans will be deep, it refers more to the fit Carpenter fit for comfort (roomier in seat, rise, and knee). Extra pockets and deep pockets are a bonus on some brands. This pair/style has a standard from pocket depth. We would suggest putting his phone in one of the lower side pockets.3 years agoHelpful?

Ordered 2 pairs, one was miss marked and weren't Carpenter Jeans (Factory miss marked)
Have them shipped to store, and go over them with a fine tooth comb) had to have the second pair refunded as Tractor Supply had no more. 50 mile run twice to rectify problem.
No, I do not recommend this product.
