It is built tough with an over molded housing and can withstand up to a 1 meter drop. When used with a detector, this laser can achieve up to a 165 ft. range. Detector sold separately.

The most durable line laser

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Owned mine for about 2 years now. The green light is awesome for seeing a long ways. Finaly decided to write it a 5 start review after dropping it 30 feet onto concrete off a lift. Not even a scratch. 5 stars for durability, 5 stars for light, 4 stars on magnets

Can't use outdoors

Impossible to see the laser when used outdoors in the daytime, or indoors with lights on.
