Works great and has the ability to measure from the front and back of the instrument. It can also calculate area and volume. Good price too. (P.S. Battery door is a slide off type) Nailed it!

Right out of the package, the battery compartment won't open. I might be able to pry it open with a chisel or something, but why bother? The tab on the lid will break and then I'll be stuck with a taped-up nuisance. Returning it today.
