Q: Is it an annual plant or does it also grow back every year
15 days ago- A: Dear Jo Annn, Thank you for your question. Strawberry plants are perennials, which means they can grow back year after year when properly cared for and grown in suitable conditions. They typically go dormant during the winter and return in the spring. When strawberries are grown in a pot, we recommend moving the pot to a cool dark area of your home to keep it from freezing during winter months. If you have any additional questions, please feel free to contact us at sales@degroot-inc.com. regards, DeGroot Inc.12 days agoHelpful?
Q: since plant is dormant can i wait a month before planting
a month ago- A: Dear Billie, Thank you for your question! Since the plant is currently dormant, you can keep it in a cold, dark area of your home for a short period of time before planting. We recommend keeping the plant slightly moist by adding only a few drops of water as needed. Please be careful not to overwater the plant while it remains dormant. For the best results and healthiest establishment, we do suggest planting it as soon as possible. Please let us know if you have any other questions, you can contact at sales@degroot-inc.com — we’re happy to help! Best regards, DeGroot Inc.a month agoHelpful?
Q: Are both discs of media soaked and used
a month ago- A: Dear Patty, thank you for your Question. We'd like to clarify that each planter includes at least one media disc. If it has two, we recommended preparing both. Quick set up: Soak plants, expand the media with 2-2 1/2 cups of warm water, fill the pot (leaving 2 inches at the tip), insert plants root-first into openings, place in the 6-8 hours of sunlight, and water to keep media moist-not wet. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions-were happy to help! Sincerely DeGroot Inc.a month agoHelpful?
