The Dee Zee 55 gal. Square Steel Transfer Tank is constructed of heavy 14-guage steel with radius curves to eliminate weld pressure points. The smaller size of the square transfer tank maximizes truck bed space while transporting up to 53 gal. of fluid. It joins securely to your truck bed with rugged mounting tabs. Our transfer tank is protected by a textured black NRT (No Rust Technology) rust inhibitor powder coat finish to help protect the box and keep it looking great for years. This fuel transfer tank features a lockable cap to keep fluid safe and secure plus a .375 in. drainage plug and venting coupler for easy drainage when needed.

- A: Hi, That would depend on your strength. The tank has a volume capacity of 55 gallons. 55 galloon of water weighs 459 pounds. The tank itself weighs Product Weight 85 lb. So total weight you would need to be able to lift is roughly 544 pounds.2 years agoHelpful?

- A: Hi! Per the vendor: Yes, there is away to add a fuel gauge, but Dee Zee does not currently offer anything. There are fuel handling companies that make a float and gauge kit that can be retrofitted to Dee Zee tanks.3 years agoHelpful?

- A: It shouldn't rust if you can keep from getting condensation in the tank. It is recommended that you use a filter system with your pump to keep from contaminants from entering the equipment that you are transferring fuel to.8 years agoHelpful?
