- A: This is recommended to keep birds away from gardens to protect fruits and vegetables from thieving birds. You can also, hang Holographic Scare Tape from balconies or eaves of houses to help protect the area from birds. We would also recommend a protective spiked jacket/vest to make it more difficult for the dog to be picked up by hawks and other predators.2 years agoHelpful?

Keeps sparrows away
a year ago
This tape really works for scaring away sparrows from our bluebirds. They were nesting and being pestered by sparrows and as soon as we put up our 'sparrow spooker' they haven't come near the nest. Last year a sparrow killed our mama bird so we bought some of this. Luckily Tractor Supply had it in stock.
