The Cuisinart CPT-180 Metal Classic 4-Slice Toaster has a smooth, brushed stainless housing with polished chrome and black accents. Two separate sets of controls perfectly toast two types of breads, bagels, or muffins at once. LED indicators alongside push button controls make selections easy, and dual browning dials let you toast each item to any one of six shades. Small items are easy to remove with dual extra-lift levers that brings them up high for easy removal. A slide-out crumb tray and wipe-clean housing make cleanup quick, and our cord wrap feature keeps countertops neat.

I bought it for the Great Features

I gave 3 of 5 stars because I believe my toaster may be defective, I bought this because I needed a new toaster. It is nothing like my previous one. The Bagel setting on new toaster browns both sides of Bagel (old one only toasted inside of bagel which is what a Bagel setting should be). I have to adjust browning settings each time I switch from Bagel to Bread. On the 1 1/2 setting Bagel gets very brown, while toast is not brown at all. I think the toaster I have may be defective. I considered a return but I have discarded the box it came in.

For the Bagel setting, try placing the cut side of the bagel toward the center of the toaster and testing a lower browning setting, as browning results can vary depending on the thickness and moisture content of the bread or bagel. The toaster does a good job of toasting. Compared to my previous toaster of another brand, it by far does a better job of toasting.
