bagger

If you need to bag , don't buy a Cub Cadet. The bagger is an overpriced pieceof flimsy junk. It’s flimsy and poorly designed and does not work well. It is difficult to put on and take off when it is not needed.

Decent for the first year...should be cheaper

Majority of pieces that accompany this are plastic. With that being said, this worked fairly well the first year or so. I mainly bought for making leaf bagging a little easier. Everything fit tight at first but eventually a lot of the plastic pieces gave way to father time and either broke or didn't seal allowing lots of grass/debris to escape. Metal hook that helps attach bagger to frame also doesn't hold as strong over time. Fast forward to now and both latches on my lid have broke as well as the plastic pieces that hold the top of bagger to itself. Blows debris out of every crevice now.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Constantly clogging chute

I bought this back in 2017 for my RZTS 54". There is not enough air force from the deck to push the clippings up the chute. I have to mow late afternoon, when the grass is completely dry, and it will still clog. I called customer service, and asked if they could recommend a different blade configuration that could help. They stated that the stock hi-lift blades were recommended. Not what I wanted to hear. For four years, I have to remove the entire chute to clean. Second problem is the chute pops out of the lid. Poor design. The lip on the chute is not large enough to stay engaged. The section of the chute that is secured to the deck, is not the best fit, and should have been constructed from thicker plastic. It flexes too much and is now starting to split. The seals on the chute for the flex tube fell off the first couple months. There is an adhesive that gets dirt in it, causing it to come unsecured. Poor design and quality for a $550. plus shipping purchase. I do not recomnend. I live in Georgia where I have a Zoysia sod lawn. Fairly thin blade of grass.

No, I do not recommend this product.
