The itchy eyes drove me to purchase goggles to go with my covid bandana. I installed this kit easily. I jacked up the mower and easily changed blades using an impact wrench. Zip zip. My first mow (1 acre) was unbelievable. No need for mask or goggles. Now I can drink a beer and smoke a cigar while mowing. The cut was great and the mulching didn't slow me down much at all. All the parts fit great even on my janky dented deck.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The plastic "plug" has basically shattered and is completely useless now which is why I came back to this sight. The 46" Cub Cadet may be the worst mulching mower ever designed, I expected more from such a reputable name in mowers. I hope there has been a redesign of this mulching kit. Mulching mowers that I have had previous experiences don't blow the clipping out the side, but rather leave them under the mower. I might as well not even use the "plug", maybe I wouldn't have mulch multiple times until the clipping disappeared. If Cub Cadet was designing a leaf mulchef/blower - job well done.
