  • A: Hi Neighbor! The Cozy Products Chicken Coop Heating Panel (150W) can safely be used indoors for pipe protection, but it is not a room heater. Designed to prevent freezing in small spaces, it is safer than heat lamps because it has a lower surface temperature (around 155-165°F) and is ETL-certified for safe placement near combustible materials.

Not sure they are worth having.

They are nice that you can hang them on the wall, but they don't really do anything for the coop or chickens. My chickens don't go near it, and it's still 15 degrees in the coop in the morning, so I'm thinking they are wasting money.

Ok. So. Great heating pannel for the 3 chickens we got. 2 heat settings is great. Our coldest night has been 19° out and they stayed warm. So pretty good....
