The CountyLine 16 ft. Homesteader Galvanized Mesh Farm Gate pairs perfectly with small or large livestock enclosures. Because of the graduated wire mesh, you won't have to worry about animals escaping, or about predators getting in. This farm gate is crafted from heavy-gauge steel with 360 welds to keep out moisture and deliver reliable strength and stability. Thanks to its adjustable bolt-on hinges, the gate can be mounted from the left or the right to suit your needs. From driveways and gardens to yards and fields, this durable galvanized farm gate is an excellent choice.

Not suitable for a 16 foot span

Its 1-5/8" OD steel tubing is thin-walled, and deforms easily when tightening brackets onto it. The welds are fine so far and I don't doubt the galvanization will hold up, but with such weak material and no cross bracing except for the wire grid welded to it, the gate started to sag almost immediately. Only a couple of weeks after installation it already hangs over an inch lower on the latch side.
It may be ok for a shorter span, but this design definitely isn't suitable for a 16 footer.

I needed a medium duty gate that looked good to close a driveway on a busy highway. Its primary purpose was to keep small kids from easily accessing the busy road. This gate fit the bill.
