Q: Do I need to purchase a battery for this to work?

  • Fimco Industries
A: Thank you for reaching out! No, you do not need to purchase a separate battery if you are towing or mounting the sprayer to a lawn tractor, ATV, or UTV that already has a standard 12V battery. The sprayer comes complete with a wire harness equipped with alligator clamps that clip directly onto your vehicle's 12V battery terminals. If you plan to operate the sprayer independently without connecting it to a vehicle, you would need a standalone 12-Volt battery (such as a standard lawn & garden or deep-cycle battery).

Q: The information included in the shopping cart recommends a wiring harness, does the unit not come with this?

1 Answer
  • Fimco Industries
A: Yes, this trailer sprayer comes complete with the necessary wiring harness included in the box. We aren't sure why Tractor Supply's website suggests purchasing one in the shopping cart, but you will not need to buy an additional wiring harness to operate this unit.

Q: I need a shut off valve so that I can just use the hand sprayer

1 Answer
  • Fimco Industries
A: You actually don't need to add a separate shut-off valve! This sprayer is equipped with a boomless manifold that allows you to shut off the broadcast nozzles directly. To turn off the boom and use only the hand sprayer: Locate the boom nozzles on the manifold. Twist the outer end nozzles to the "OFF" position (which is clearly marked on the manifold body). Once turned to OFF, fluid will flow exclusively through your handgun when the pump is powered on.

Q: How far will the handheld wand spray in feet?

1 Answer
  • Fimco Industries
A: The handheld wand typically reaches approximately about 12 feet vertically and 20 feet horizontally. Keep in mind that your actual distance can vary slightly depending on your pump pressure setting and how you adjust the nozzle tip between a stream or a mist.

Q: what is the duty cycle on the motor?

1 Answer
  • Fimco Industries
A: The 12V diaphragm pump on this CountyLine trailer sprayer is rated for an intermittent duty cycle. The pump is perfectly fine running continuously for the length of time it takes to empty the tank, but you should give it a few minutes to cool down while you are refilling the tank before starting your next round.

Q: How do you replace the hand held spray wand. It appears crimped onto the rubber hose and just spins inside the spray wand

1 Answer
  • A: If the factory metal crimp is on too tight to pry open, the easiest solution is to cut the hose. You can simply cut the rubber hose an inch or two below the crimped connection and then attach your new spray wand directly to the freshly cut end. Losing a couple of inches of hose won't be noticeable during use, and it will not affect the sprayer’s pressure or performance.

Q: Can the hand held wand be used without the broadcast wand being on?

1 Answer
  • A: Yes, you can absolutely use the handheld wand on its own without turning on the broadcast nozzles. While it is technically possible to operate both at the same time, doing so will significantly reduce your water pressure. For the best performance, we recommend using either the handheld wand or the broadcast boom individually

Q: Once it is hooked up to the battery, how do you get it to run?

A: You can operate the sprayer using the on/off switch located on the lead wire.

Drain plug leaks

Drain plug leaks. Customer service said it's common and to apply vaseline.

No, I do not recommend this product.

We apologize for the frustration and for the unhelpful recommendation you received. Had you spoken directly with our technical support team, we would have suggested using plumber's Teflon tape on the threads or checking the gasket rather than applying petroleum jelly. A leaking drain cap should not be something you simply have to live with. Leaks are typically caused by a misseated or damaged rubber gasket inside the cap. Additionally, check the flat plastic face of the drain outlet itself—if there are any small plastic ridges, molding flash, or uneven spots on that sealing surface, it can prevent the gasket from sitting flush and cause a slow drip. Typically, lightly sanding that facing down smooth with fine-grit sandpaper will clear that up. Please call our dedicated manufacturer support team directly at 800-831-0027, if you still need any assistance, so we can troubleshoot with you. FimcoInc

Great Value - Poor Boom coverage

Bought this as a customer return for a $100, discounted due to the boom leaking. Got it home and the only issue was the rubber gaskets in the sprayer heads were too thin to seal. Swapped those out with two thicker rubber gaskets and it stopped the leaking. The sprayer operated perfectly fine and there's no leaks. Got to say I almost feel bad only paying $100 for it and fixed it for free. The only negative feature is the coverage from the boom. The spray tips are not adjustable so you're stuck with a larger overlap.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Thank you for taking the time to share your review! Getting that unit up and running leak-free with a quick gasket swap for $100 is a fantastic deal. You're spot on—the fixed bracket height and molded nozzle assembly on this broadcast model are set to maintain a fixed pattern for consistent ground coverage, with a 100" spray swath. We appreciate the feedback on the overlap, as insights like this help our design team as we evaluate future updates. Thank you for choosing FIMCO and enjoy your sprayer! FimcoInc

Boom is a joke.

Everything is ok with this sprayer except it's ability to spray 100" wide. 90% of the water from the tips overlap in about 12 " in the center. There is no real way have accurately spray that way. Pay extra and get one with an actual boom.

No, I do not recommend this product.
