does not work if you feed hay

If you plan on feeding your horses hay or using straw for bedding avoid this spreader at all costs since it does not work. Spreader does not empty completely until you stop multiple times to free up the tines and scrape the sides of materiel.

Axle engagement does not work.

I tried to make it work, but there is a design flaw. When loaded, the axle locks will automatically lock once the cart hits uneven ground. I tried tightening the nuts, but the axle locks hit the rim engagement stem as soon as I drive off. The design flaw is that there is slight lateral play in the axle, so when the axle shifts to one side, the opposite side gets shorter to where the axle lock lever hits the rim engagement stem. They should keep the axle tolerance tighter and maybe add a bearing. Will be returning the unit.

Great solution, but it only works with certain conditions. If the manure has hay in it or is very wet, it will not spread well if at all. I've had it a year now and I'm making it work, but there's a lot of cussing that goes with it. The trailer itself is good quality, but the parts not so much, I'm already having to order new locking mechanisms.
