Nice Bald Cypress Tree

The tree came when promised. Very healthy tree,it's doing great. The only drawback is they shipped it in a box to short and bent it so about a third of it was broken off.

How not to put a tall tree in a short box.

Putting a 71 inch tree in a 52 inch shipping box does not bode well for the tree. I assume they tried to bend the top over, but it was too thick to have much flexibility. The top 2 foot of the tree was broken. Other than that, the tree looked healthy. So time will tell if it will surviveand what the growth form looks like. I would not recommend having it shipped, but pick up a tree you can see at the store.

Top of tree broken off in shipment. It's struggling to survive. I guess time will tell.
