The bin could be moved from location to location if the RV is traveling, but it is not recommended as it is meant to be used outdoors, and indoor transport could be dirty and release odors in an RV."a year agoHelpful?

- A: We primarily use HDPE. However, because we regrind much of our own scrap material and use it in our recycled resin, we will get some mixtures of Low Linear Density (LLDPE) and some other medium density materials as well. For the typical use of our composters and rain barrels, this isn't an issue and the performance is the same. Thanks for the question.9 years agoHelpful?

I was charged $20.00 more than the price sticker on the item. The price was on the same sticker as the SKU. They reimbursed me the difference. It was the last one in stock. We had it less than 10 days when we noticed a crack in the bin. They had to order another to replace it. The crack is growing daily. The replacement should be here soon.

We purchased our second Senior Compost Wizard from Tractor Supply to add composting capacity to our large gardens. Over the years, we've used many other rotating composters and compost bins, giving us the opportunity to use and form opinions about what might be the best for us in the long term. When we brought this unit home, the only change we made was to replace the steel bolts holding the rollers with stainless 5/16 x 3 inch steel bolts, as the originals will rust and prevent the rollers from turning. As more of our other compost bins and tumblers fail, they will be replaced with the Senior Compost Wizard... I hope they are still available in the future!
