I got this to use as a stock tank pool after I got tired of dealing with rust and paint issues on my 4 year old metal one. I hated the blue color ones and was excited to finally see a grey plastic one at TSC! So I rushed to get one. Have had set up for only a few days but so far: Not as good looking as the metal but similar industrial look. Love that it is wider and deeper. The extra depth means it doesn’t have to be filled right to the rim like the metal one so less spillover. Love the no seams inside and no ugly sealant like the metal. The inside is super smooth which will be great for cleaning and feels good on the feet, it is a bit slippery but not terrible. I drilled it for a pump and it drilled easy and sealed around the gaskets good. Was surprised how thick the plastic was when I drilled it. Love the thick top rim, can even sit on it and don’t need ugly pool noodles on top. Now to the controversial part, the ribs on bottom. My kids did trip on them a bit and they take some getting used to. I like them for foot rests or to sit a bit higher and especially to grab onto to pull yourself under. They also help catch bottom debris and contain it to one place. I’d say if you plan to sit and soak they are no issue at all, but if you will have multiple kids in there playing around they are toe stubbers and I’d opt for a smooth bottom. Hope this helps!

Found 2 holes in the bottom once I got it home and unloaded. I patched them with JB weld and it seems to be holding water for now. It sucks buying something brand new and having to repair it.
